Workflow Configuration

OBJECTIVE

In this section of the manual, you will know how to create a workflow as required by the client.

What is a workflow?

A workflow refers to the sequence of steps or activities that need to be completed in order to achieve a specific goal or produce a desired outcome. It outlines the tasks, their dependencies, and the overall structure of how work is organized and executed within a process.

The following steps need to be followed for configuring a workflow:

  1. Log-in to the instance with the user Id and password and you will land on the below screen.

2. Click on Workflow option under the Workflow Builder and you will land on the screen as shown below.

3. Click on the New Workflow button to start creating a new workflow as required by the client.

4. Enter the Workflow Name and the Short Name (Workflow type -Linear) and click on Create.

5. Once you click on ‘Create’ you will land on the below screen where workflow steps can be dragged and dropped on the screen and nodes can be connected to configure a particular order of flow.

6. Drag and drop the required activities from the left side of the screen and connect the nodes to define the flow.

7. While adding each workflow activity, ensure the action group is specified from the list of dropdowns as shown in the below pic. Enter the details in ‘Block Properties' for each activity and click on Save.

8. Click on Publish to finish creation of the workflow with the required activities as shown below.
