Accounts linked to Financial Activities


Accounts linked to Financial Activities are to map accounts which are needed to do system generated accounting transaction. 

Below are the accounts which are need to be mapped respectively

Asset transfer

Should be an Asset - Account type. Asset transfer s used to transfer from loan to loan
2.

Liability transfer

Should be an Liability - Account type. Liability transfer is used for transfer from savings to loan
3.

Main cash account or cash at vault

Should be an Liability - Account type. 
4.

Cash at Tellers/cashier

Should be an Liability - Account type,used for "Teller cashier management" feature. 
5.

Opening Balances transfer contra

Should be an Equity - Account type, used for "Migrate opening balances" feature. 
6.

Fund source

Should be an Equity - Account type. Refer Advanced settings for additional fields specific to Fund Source

On this page:

Beginning at the main screen, click on Accounting. This will launch the Accounting menu.

Select Accounts linked to Financial Activities


Defining new mapping

Click on "+Define New mapping" 


Select and update the mapping as mentioned in the below example:- 

Financial Activities Field Description

1.Financial activityOpening Balances Transfer Contra.
2.AccountOpening Balances Contra Account(Equity account type) 


    Then click on Submit


Key Error Messages

Note: For the above example:Opening Balances Transfer Contra, you should have created an Equity Account Type from chart of account feature.

For example: Opening Balances contra account with account type as equity.
