#Field NameDescription

Loan Account Limits

1.
Limit On Total Disbursement Amount

Set the amount to restrict the total disbursal amount at customer/client level. This restriction is applied once the disbursal amount exceeds the limit while submitting/approving/disbursing the loan.

Example 1: Bob has applied for a loan of amount of 55000 but has a limit of 50000. Hence Bob is not allowed to take a loan of 55000 where he will be restricted for applying the loan at the time of submission/approval/disbursal of loan.

Example 2: Say for an instance Bob has already applied for a loan of 45000 which has not yet disbursed (would be in submission state or approval state). Now he needs another loan of 20000 on top of the one he applied. Since he has a limit of 50000, he would be permitted to take 5000 on top of the loan he applied for, other wise he would be restricted for applying the loan.

Note: Customer/Client level meaning total non-disbursed amount from all the accounts at client level will be considered for limit validation.

2.
Limit On Total Outstanding Amount

Set the amount to restrict the total outstanding amount at customer/client level. This restriction is applied once the outstanding amount of existing loans exceeds the limit while submitting/approving/disbursing the loan.

Example 1: Say for an instance already Bob has two loans of total outstanding of 102560 (including principal outstanding + Interest + Fees) and now he needs another loan of 20000 on top of the loans he has. Since he has a limit of 100000, he would not be permitted to take a loan on top of the loan he has.

Note: Customer/Client level meaning total outstanding amount from all the loan accounts (disbursed) at client level will be considered for limit validation.

Saving Account Limits

1.
Daily Withdrawal Limit

Set the amount to restrict the daily withdrawal at customer/client level. This restriction is applied once the customer tries to withdraw an amount exceeding the limit on daily basis.

Example 1: Bob has an saving account with his savings of 50000. Say for an instance he will try to withdraw an amount of 6000 on 10th Jan 2017, since his daily withdrawal limit is set to 5000 he would not be able to withdraw amount exceeding the limit on the same day.

Example 2: Say for an instance Bob has two different saving account i.e., saving account 1 and saving account 2 having 20000 in each account. Now he will withdraw an amount of 5000 from saving account 1 on 10th Jan 2017 successfully. But if he tries to withdraw any amount from saving account 2, he will be restricted from withdrawing the amount since he had exceeded his daily withdrawal limit.

Note: Customer/Client level meaning total withdrawn amount for the day from all the existing saving accounts at client level will be considered for limit validation.

2.
Daily Transfer Limit

Set the amount to restrict the daily transfer from one account to the other account at customer/client level. This restriction is applied once the customer tries to transfer an amount exceeding the limit on daily basis.

Example 1: Bob has an saving account with his savings of 50000. Say for an instance he will try to transfer an amount of 6000 to his friend's account on 10th Jan 2017, since his daily transfer limit is set to 5000 he would not be able to withdraw amount exceeding the limit on the same day.

Example 2: Say for an instance Bob has two different saving account i.e., saving account 1 and saving account 2 having 20000 in each account. Now he will transfer an amount of 5000 from saving account 1 to his friend's account on 10th Jan 2017 successfully. But if he tries to transfer any amount from saving account 2, he will be restricted from transferring the amount since he had exceeded his daily withdrawal limit.

Note: Customer/Client level meaning total transferred amount for the day from all the existing saving accounts at client level will be considered for limit validation

3.
Limit On Total Overdraft Amount

Set the amount to restrict the total overdraft from all his overdraft account at customer/client level. This restriction is applied once the customer tries to withdraw an overdraft amount exceeding the limit.

Example 1: Bob has an overdraft account with overdraft limit of 20000. Say for an instance he will try to withdraw an amount of 25000, since his total overdraft limit is set to 20000 he would not be able to withdraw amount exceeding the limit.
