Configuration of Maker-Checker Tasks
OBJECTIVE
The “maker-checker” principle requires all tasks to be completed by two people to reduce the chance of errors and misuse. One person initiates the process, and the second person completes it. There would be two users, one will be the maker and other will be the checker.
In this section of the manual, you will know:
How to enable Maker in ‘Maker-Checker’ tab to give permission for maker
How to enable Checker in ‘Roles and Permission’ tab to give permission for checker
Navigation
The following steps need to be followed for configuration of maker-checker tasks on new UI:
Log-in to the instance with the user Id and password. Click on the drop-down beside ‘System’ under ‘Admin Home’ and you will see different options under that as shown. Then click on ‘View All'.
2. Once you click on ‘View All’, you will see the below screen. Then click on ‘Configure Maker-Checker Tasks’ option.
Edit Maker-Checker Tasks
Once you click on the ‘Configure Maker-Checker Tasks’ option, you will get the below screen which contains a list of all available Maker-Checker tasks will be generated. The tasks currently enabled for Maker-Checker will have a check mark in the box next of them.
To add or remove a task from the Maker-Checker list first click the blue ‘Edit’ button at the top-right corner of the screen.

3. Once you click on ‘Edit’ button, you will see the below screen where you will be able to check or un-check the boxes based on what tasks your organization would like to use Maker-Checker for. When everything is correct, click on 'Submit’ button as shown.

Setup
Maker Checker Inbox
The Maker-Checker Inbox is found among the shortcuts on the left side of the the finflux homepage and is labelled as "Checker Inbox & Tasks."
2. Once you click on the shortcut, you will see the below screen. (This screenshot is from the old UI)
From your Checker inbox you may:
Approve or Reject the completion of tasks
Delete tasks
Step 1: How to enable Maker in ‘Maker-Checker’ tab to give permission for maker
For example: you have to enable maker-checker for Loan approval. You need to follow these steps:
Navigate through Admin Home > System > View All > Configure Maker-Checker Tasks > Edit
Click on ‘Organisation’ under ‘Permission Groups’ present on the left side, you will see various options appearing on the right side under ‘Permissions’. Search for ‘create loan product’ and mark the checkbox to select it. Then, click on ‘Submit’ button.
Step 2: How to enable Checker in ‘Roles and Permission’ tab to give permission for checker
Navigate through Admin Home > User Access Management > User Roles > Select the user role (For example: I have created Special user) > Edit
2. Search for ‘Organisation’ under ‘Assigned Categories’ and click on it once it pops-up. Similarly, search for ‘create loan product checker’ under ‘Permissions’ and mark the checkbox to select it. Finally, click on ‘Activate’ button.
