Presentation Setup

OBJECTIVE

In this section of the manual, you will know:

What is a mandate?

A document issued by a bank to another bank requesting that the second bank allow a customer to open account, conduct transactions and generally receive privileges as if he/she were an existing account holder.

Step 1: Mandate Registration

The following steps need to be followed for mandate registration on new UI:

  1. From the home page (Branch), select any customer from a list of customers as shown below.

2. Once you select a customer, you will see the below screen. Click on ‘Loan Accounts’ and then select any loan account (for example: Daily Loan).

3. Once you select the loan account, you will see the below screen. Click on ‘Mandate’ and then click on ‘Create’ as shown.

4. Once you click on ‘Create’, you will see the below screen. Fill all the mandatory details as required and click on ‘Submit’.

It contains the following fields:

  • Scanned Document: Here, all the document uploaded will be populated.

  • Requested Date: Select the date for presentation.

  • Bank Account Number: Provide the bank account number.

  • Account Type: Select the account type from the below options as shown.

 

  • From Date: Select the start date for mandate.

  • To Date: Select the expiry date for mandate.

  • Debit Type: You will get two options here, select any one and proceed.

  1. Fixed Amount

  2. Maximum Amount

  • Amount: Provide the loan amount.

  • Debit Frequency: Select the debit frequency from the below options as shown.

 

  • UMRN Number: Enter the UMRN Number. This 20-digit number can be generated using Digio Portal (refer the image below).

5. Once you click on ‘Submit’, you will see the below screen which shows the mandate status as ‘create_requested’. Click on ‘Activate’.

6. Once you click on ‘Activate’, you will see the below screen which shows the mandate status as ‘active’.

7. Once you activate it, you can view the mandate details by clicking on ‘View’ as shown.

8. Once you click on ‘View’, you will see the below screen which shows all the details like UMRN Number, Amount, Loan Account Number, Dates, status etc.

Step 2: Schedule Repayment Presentation

Run Scheduler Jobs

The following steps need to be followed to run scheduler jobs on new UI:

  1. From the home page (Admin), click on ‘System’ and then click on ‘View All’ as shown.

2. Once you click on ‘View All’, you will see the below screen. Click on ‘Scheduler Jobs’.

3. Once you click on ‘Scheduler Jobs’, you will see the below screen. Search for ‘Presentation’ in the search box provided and then select the first job - Create Loan Repayment Transaction as shown. Then click on ‘Run Job’.

4. Once you run the job, refresh it. You will see the date and time of previous run and previous run status as ‘success’.

5. After running the first job, from the home page (Admin), click on ‘Presentation’ and then click on ‘All Presentations’.

6. Once you click on ‘All Presentations’, you will see the below screen which contains four sections. After running the first job, new entry will be populated under ‘Ready for Presentations’. Click on the three dots along the same row, you will get various options like view, download, approve etc as shown. You can either ‘Approve’ it from here or you can click on ‘View’.

7. Once you click on ‘View’, you will get the below screen. Remove the loan status which shows closed by clicking on the cross icon.

8. Once you remove the loan status, you will see the loan account. Select the same and click on ‘Approve’.

9. Once you click on ‘Approve’, you will see a pop-up as shown. Again, click on ‘Approve’.

10. Once you click on ‘Approve’, presentation will move from ‘Ready for presentations’ to ‘Scheduled for presentations'.

Then, from ‘Scheduler Jobs’, run the second job - Present Loan Repayment Batches (performs background tasks).

11. Similarly, run the third job - Make Presentation Loan Repayment Transaction. Once you run the third job, presentation will move from ‘Scheduled for presentations’ to ‘Presented’. When you click on the three dots along the same row, you will get the option to view and download it.

12. Finally, run the fourth job - Update Presentation Status.

13. Once you run the fourth job, presentation will move from ‘Presented’ to ‘Acknowledged’. When you click on the three dots along the same row, you will get the option to view and download it. Click on ‘View’.

14. Once you click on ‘View’, you will see the below screen. When you click on the three dots along the same row, you will get the option to view it. Click on ‘View’.

15. Once you click on ‘View’, you will see the below screen which contains the Batch Details. It shows the transaction status as ‘cleared’. It also contains an UTR Number.

16. Select the loan account (for example: khatabook LP).

17. Once you select the loan account, you will see the below screen which contains various tabs. Click on ‘Transactions’, you will see the recent transaction type as ‘repayment’. When you click on the three dots along the same row, you will get various options as shown. Click on ‘View Details'.

18. Once you click on ‘View Details’, you will see the below screen which shows the transaction details. It contains the same UTR Number. It confirms that the repayment has been completed successfully.

Global Level Configuration

  1. From the home page (Admin), click on ‘System’ and then click on ‘View All’ as shown.

2. Once you click on ‘View All’, you will see the below screen. Click on ‘Configurations’.

3. Once you click on ‘View All’, you will see the below screen. Search for ‘number of days to consider loan for presentation before due date’.

You can see that the value is ‘0' here which means that the repayment should be done on the same day.

This is done for testing purpose.

The number of days depends on the client’s requirements.

4. You can also edit the configuration according to the client’s requirements by clicking on the edit icon present along the same row. Once you click on the edit icon, you will see the below screen. Enter the required value and click on ‘Update’.
